Kristin Wendt completed her degree in physics at OVGU Magdeburg in 2011.

Today, she is provisional head of the Projects and Cross-Cutting Issues department at the National Test Center for Unmanned Aircraft Systems at the German Aerospace Center in Saxony-Anhalt. Her area of activity includes the project management of scientific projects in the field of UAS (Unmanned Aircraft Systems, colloquially known as drones).
