Dr. Anja Heyse completed both her Bachelor's (2013) and Master's (2015) degrees in Biosystems Engineering at the University of Magdeburg.

During her studies, she gained international experience through a summer school in the USA, an internship in Sweden, and a semester abroad at Purdue University. In addition to her involvement in the student and faculty councils, she worked as a student assistant in the Campus Service Center and the International Office.

Today, she works as a Project Engineer at Herbstreith & Fox Werder in the chemical and food processing industry, specializing in process engineering, energy process technology, automation, and mechatronics. Before that, she was a research associate and PostDoc at TU Berlin.
