PROSPER Workshop and Open Discussion at OVGU, June 14, 2025
Since January 2025, the Chair of Multilevel Governance in Europe, held by Professor Eva G. Heidbreder, has been one of twelve partners in the EU-funded Jean Monnet Network PROSPER. As part of this network, you are warmly invited to the first workshop, which will take place on June 14 at OVGU. In the evening, a discussion will be held in conjunction with the Long Night of the Sciences.
The PROSPER Workshop ”EU Fiscal & Economic Governance: Demands & Dynamics” will be conducted in English with experts and is primarily aimed at stakeholders and those interested in EU affairs in the region.

KoWi Seminar: EU Compact I, on November 18 to 20, 2025
The European Liaison Office of the German Research Organisations (KoWi) in Bonn is once again hosting the first part of the EU Compact seminar series on European research funding. The EU Compact I seminar is particularly designed for newcomers to the field of EU funding consulting and project management. The program provides a basic overview of the structure and functioning of the Horizon Europe research framework program.
The agenda includes presentations on the political background of the framework program and key funding instruments, as well as contributions on project administration and many practical elements. In addition, external subject matter experts complete the program. The aim is also to promote networking, both among participants and with KoWi employees. A mandatory prerequisite for participation is affiliation with a German university, a public research institution, or an organisation that is a member of the KoWi sponsoring association. The expected participation fee is 150 €.
